Dominican republic missions trip 2025

A huge part of this mission trip is to encourage Jair and Mely. In addition we want to encourage the team of pastors and their wives who serve with Jair. I encourage you to come with a heart ready to love and encourage the people any way you can.  A trip like this is a huge boost to them and. will be a great blessing to you as well.

This year, we are taking on another major project. For the last several years, we have been building new houses and church buildings. In 2025, Timothy Project Ministries takes on the task of extreme makeovers for current buildings:

• Build an addition to the current church to fit the growth needs.
•  Fix and build up Sunday School building in their second church.
•  Build a parsonage for the national pastor and his family.
• Repair the run down parsonage

Our team will be assisting local missionaries, Jair Munoz and his wife, Mely Munoz. Jair Munoz is from Columbia. He came to the United States and ended up in a small town in NY. The postmaster at his local post office gave him a gospel tract which led to his salvation. Mely is from Mexico and both ended up at Word of Life Argentina where they met. They were married and eventually ended up in the Dominican Republic where they have served for over 20 years. Their son Jay Jr. just graduated college. There is so much more to their story and Jair will share more while we are there! Jair and Mely were led of the Lord to go to the sugar cane villages in the DR. Over the past years they have started six churches and they have led “Timothy Project Ministries” where Jair has faithfully reached children with the gospel. Out of that ministry the Lord raised up the men that are currently serving as the pastors in the six churches. Jair trains and encourages these men as he oversees the entire ministry.
